Wow. To have Les McDonald praise your building skill is something else. I remember his absolutely gorgeous black and white stiletto control line airplane. It was a true work of art. It had the "Best" finish on it and I would guess it was painted with dope back then. What a airplane. ❤❤👍👍

Beautiful ! I am interested to see it as finished as a USN aircraft - I would have imagined it finish as a JMSDF one (as they were used in 1950s -1960s) in all-nave blue would have looked amazing too.

Nice job on the build! Came out very nice. Do you put any tweak to the controls to get it to fly in the circle? I.e. slight rudder? I'm currently working on the 30" Mr Mulligan by Dumas...

Im going to do the Guillows B-52 kit and fly it with the Kc-135 in flight rubber band re-winder kit. I want to do MITO drills and go nuke Ivan with balsa wood and rubber bands. But instead of nukes the kit is a pinata and when shot down with Estes SA-2's candy is strewen all over the landscape.

Hi. There are a number of sources for modelling supplies. Easy Built Models is a good place to start. Also, check out "Maxfliart" here on You Tube for more inspiring videos. Dumas has a full line of complete laser-cut kits of good quality. Enjoy!

@@josejulian749 Glad I could help. Those Dumas kits are really nice, much better than Guillow's. I use Elmer's white glue thinned down with water to apply the colored tissue, shrunk tight with a light mist of water. Paint is heavy so, just a light spray of clear Krylon to seal the tissue.

@@josejulian749 I only paint the plastic parts. The tissue comes in many colors. So clear Krylon only on the tissue. Don't expect perfect results the first time. Light weight is the key to a good flying model. My four criteria for any flying model is build it light, straight, and strong. And make it pretty! Maxfliart is a master modeler. Go there and be amazed. And the internet is at your disposal.
