Rubber Scale Model Airplane Flight at WESTFAC VIII

My good friend Robert Hodes built a scale model of the antique Voisin airplane. It was a canard seaplane first used by the French Navy circa 1912. The models is primarily constructed of balsa wood and tissue. It is powered by a rubber band that turns a pusher prop mounted at the rear of the model. The detail and craftsmanship of the model are excellent. The video shows an official flight in the WESTFAC competition of the Flying Aces Club that took place in Buckeye, Arizona October 21 - 24, 2021.
