I went to poly bushings on my 280z, I do remember that pressing out the bearings as a novice garage mechanic was pretty hard. But in the end the car rides so much better, and it’s definitely a worth-while upgrade when you consider how inexpensive a bushing set can be

Good morning, excellent video. And with regard to a family car, of daily use, like an Audi A6 Avant, do you recommend the application of powerflex bushes? I have the vehicle lowered in some KW StreetComfort coilovers, quite comfortable, although the difference is noticed for an original suspension, namely and only on poor quality roads, but I would like to reinforce my original bushes, because without the lowering it strains them in compared to an original suspension. However, I'm undecided between new original bushings or new powerflex bushings, as I didn't want to lose more comfort either. I was told to apply it to the lower suspension arms first, to see the difference and because they convey less "information" to the vehicle than the upper arms.

So you do recommend the Powerflex Polyurethane if the car is used on the track (HPDE stuff)? Great video - thanks!

From my experiences over the years rubber bushings are far better for a smoother ride, sure they have a useful life and need replacement as required.

Rubber is a softer compound and has greater deflection. It's the way to go to help isolate NVH. Urethane provides greater density which improves wear characteristics and provides more connection to the components. It's certainly a preference thing!

Are black series bushings too stiff for the street?

It's a tad subjective, some folks like it, some don't.

@@Flat6Motorsports I’ve added black racing bushings on my lower control arm and they feel sporty. There is no vibration when riding on quality roads, I just hope they last as long as Powerflex claim
