Trying out Mint Mobile's Starter Kit/Trial Kit

Mint Mobile offers a Trial sim with 7 days of service to test out their network. This trial sim is available on Amazon for $5 normally but it is on sale for $1 right now.

So what does this trial kit include? 7 days of service including 250MB of 4G LTE data, 250 Minutes and 250 Text messages. It also includes the trial sim card as well as a sim card to activate if you decide to go forward with the service.
Mint Mobile runs off of the T-Mobile network, so if you want to test it out, this is a great way to do so.
You can activate the trial through the app or online and it can be used on a wide variety of phones. In this video I tested the sim on an iPhone 6, iPhone 7 Plus and a Google Pixel 2.

Very informative video. Switching to Mint Mobile was was of the best decisions I've made as far as mobile service. Also they have a referral program where you and the other person signing up will get a credit on the account. Great video.

Found out international roaming is $200.00 per Gig of data. Looks like I am staying with GoogleFi at $10.00 per Gig for international roaming. Very sad.

Excellent video. Just bought it for a buck, however, I'm worried about moving forward. Waiting for the sim to arrive. Reviews on Amazon indicate porting the number is a nightmare with the 2nd included sim in the kit. Any follow up info?

I am not sure on the porting as I just did a new number. Hopefully it isn’t as bad as those reviews say.

When I use the App it says to add a new APN but T-Mobile US is already there and although I added the new APN, I don't have it selected. So there's no need to add a new APN. Is that correct?

Do You got to pay extra to get a new number because this will be a secondary device I want to activate my pixel 4 XL unlocked and will the $15 plan be considered a full plan

Nope no extra to get a new number, the $15 is an introductory plan. I think after the first 3 months it’s $25. However T-Mobile has a prepaid plan that’s $15 a month for 2GB right now

Recieved my 7 day trial today, they lowered it to 100Mb 4G LTE data, 100 minutes of talk , and 100 texts.. Correction, the info that came with the sim card showed the info above but after I activated the sim your info is correct, 250 minutes, 250 mb of data and 250 minutes of talk..I'm useing a Moto G Stylus and everything is working fine .Was useing Ting which also works fine but you get a better deal with Mint so I will swith to there service..

If you buy the 12 month plan you can leave it there for as long as you want.
