When the character changes to face forwards all of a sudden, he's also doing a kickflip towards camera. Instead of a continuity error, I see it as a creative transition into a different shot.

Because the most obvious thing for Among Us is killing Crewmates, this is basically the 2021 version of stick figures dying but in much cooler ways and with inherent purpose rather than the sheer randomness of the late 2000s. Also because Among Us has built-in roles, you can more easily imply personality
