Very nice pattern but I typically avoid tying with deer hair, therefore I tie my sculpin patterns with craft fur and dumbell eyes, however what I will take away from this video and most def apply is the fantastic and brilliant weighted formula executed with the looped piece of mono. An ingenious and yet low profile and inconspicuous application. Thank you for sharing.

Hi buddy, yes it works when you dont need to add too much weight to the fly, we mostly fish with full sinking lines in patagonia argentina, so we dont need a very heavy fly all the time
