Robert Surprenant 4 minutes ago Just completed my first Rubio Monocoat floor. We went with Savannah,nonpopped. Followed the finishing sequence to 120-grit screen. The Monocoat portion went on really well. My only issue was there was buffer patterns left in the floor(not marks or swirls just shadows from the Clarke 16-inch buffer. We waited a week then applied the maintenance oil and that seemed to hide the buffer passes a little. Question: will these buffer runs dull/disappear/blend or fade after time and usage?

Hi ,can somebody point me in the right direction,I have fitted a pre finished herringbone floor a couple of years ago and I asked the supplier what was the name of the oil and it was the Rubio in walnut .Can I purchase the oil and just do as there doing in the video or will it not take ,don’t really want to sand it

Do you put the color on before you put on the Natural Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2c Finish; or is it a one step process with the color being part of the Monocoat Plus? Thank you.

Our Oil Plus 2C is a single coat application that colors and protects the wood in that one single layer. It is available in 50+ colors.

I use this on tables and other furniture in our custom woodworking shop. Does anybody know what the white and red pads he's referring to are called? Do they make any that attach to smaller buffing devices rather than that giant floor one?

On furniture use palm sander buffing pads.

That's what i thought when i saw the video. 100 sqft in 15 minutes, my ass. With three people it would be possible. But most of us work alone. You are forced to do all these extra steps which is going to cost a tradesman, because time is money.
