Ruby & Pearl Design Team Project - Creating Ephemera

This is my design team project for @Rubyandpearl.xo where I’m creating many items from a single digital kit. These are perfect for creating journal elements, using in happy mail and for pen pals. I used the Camilla kit which is incredibly gorgeous and goes well with 38 Rue Bourbon. You can find both in Heather’s Etsy shop along with so many other amazing digitals. Thank you Jennifer! I use a mixture but the one I use most often is a linen paper by Southworth. It has a beautiful texture to it. What weight paper do you print in this video? It looks thicker than 20lb. I printed a bunch of Ruby & Pearl kits on 20lb because I think it works better for layering but I don't like it. So, curious what you are using here 😊

I don’t remember but I generally use three different papers which are regular copy paper, linen paper by Southworth which is 24lb and a bright white paper by Pen & Gear which is 28lb I believe 🤍

Oh my! I love these pieces you have created. I was wondering if you have a name for this style of ephemera. I was a clean and simple cardmaker for years. I know a lot of creators use vintage and grungy. My style is kind of in between. I love shabby chic too, but I lean more towards chic than shabby. My sister used to decorate her house in European opulence. Do you know what style I’m talking about? Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
