I genuinely believe that the merge problem in #3 is caused by the piss-poor design of the sign. That stupid sign basically shows a dead end in the left lane - which encourages everyone to get out of that lane before the merge point. The sign should show 2 lanes separated by a solid line, and both merging into a new lane in the centre at the end. The psychology of that sign is all wrong and it leads to well-meaning lorry drivers doing this kind of thing, even though they're absolutely definitely in the wrong. TL;DR: we need a new sign for merge ahead.

No3, I’ve had an idiot do this to me at 50mph - still a hell of a lot of lane ahead before merge, half pulled out on me quickly, I had to swerve, absolute clown

#15 seems more like a failed crash for cash attempt with a bogus explanation by the car driver (from 8:24 )

always the 'professional drivers' that block merging lanes. Its an offence to block live highways

#2, I never argue with works vans, lorries or buses. It's usually not the drivers own vehicle so he'll care less.

#8 looked like he was on his mobile to me.... you can see it at the top of the steering wheel and he puts it down after the crash.

The foreign van (driver on left side). Don't know why the excuse. Thousands of Brits do it every year when holidaying on the continent and we manager quite well. All the van needed to do was to stop at the roundabout a little further back, and you can see more
