Really solid short. Well shot and acted, both Lindsay LaVanchy (Nora) and Susan Kemp (Sarah) wrote and directed and acted in this, which is pretty cool. I really did love that the short really sold how awkward and uncomfortable a friendship ending feels like. The scene with gay PR/Agent guy, as a nice little fleeting moment of how close these two friends once were. Even from the moment, Nora jumps out on Sarah and her boyfriend Alex (seems like a nice supportive guy), something isn't right there between these two childhood friends. Sarah, never quite feels comfortable around Nora. Something that always sticks out from my rewatches of the short. Nora, feels like she's only one really trying but she's clearly walking on eggshells cause she just doesn't know who this version of Sarah is. It's really sad to watch. I felt bad for both at the end. Sarah, clearly cares for Nora but is fed up just seen her mess up her life over what seems like a long term affair with a married man and thinks she should grow up and quit jet life lifestyle she has. But it probably comes off to Nora like Sarah is being a bit of heartless judgemental snob. Nora, looks at Sarah as someone who gave up their friendship for Alex and living a boring life and has become a shadow of who she once was, and couldn't be bothered with Nora or their other friends (Probably true about Sarah stepping back from her friend circle, once she got with Alex. But that happens). These two have clearly become different people and they just don't feel comfortable with each other anymore. It sucks but that's how some friendships end, they don't have happy endings. We've all been there. After this, I imagine Nora anytime she goes back to L.A to visit Family and Friends, she won't be wanting to spend it with boring old judgemental Sarah. I think Sarah knows at the end, that there isn't any way back into Nora's good graces. She crossed the line of no return. At best if they bump into each other in the future, it be very cordial at the least.

If these women are reading from a script they are the greatest actresses ever! cause im listening in the background and they sound like a real couple of girls haveing a chat while walking down in some park. Kudos

guys its not a bad ending its just more realistic, sometimes friendships break apart whether its because the two people barely know eachother anymore or theyve just grown apart or for some other reason it happens all the time. this movie showcases the truth that not all friendships are meant to last, friends come and go and if you cant accept that then youre in for a really depressing wake up call

what do you mean the ending was bad?

@@Foxy-ve1oh The film, script, cast - amazing. My comment was of a personal nature . . . . it's bad when any relationship is left up in the air like this - no closure.

@@Foxy-ve1oh It's realistic ending. Their friendship has probably been drifting away ever since Sarah got with Alex, her boyfriend. This explosion of their friendship was probably coming for a long time. This definitely has closure for sure, their friendship is over with. If they bump into each other in future when Nora is in town, they might be cordial to each other and say hello. Their friendship is over with.

@@gaynorroberts8201 I don't think it leaves it up in the air at all, it just doesn't spell it out for the audience. Their friendship is pretty much done for. Nora who was the most open of the two, is closed off once she says "she needs some space" and barely looks at Sarah after that. I think Sarah knows that Nora will never forgive her for what she said.
