My dear Mother died of cancer a few years ago. She went through so much pain at the end and no matter what drugs she was given including so much Morphine nothing worked. So me and my Dad started making weed cakes for her. Funny seeing my conservative Dad doing £300 drug deals in the pub. I remember this song first came on the radio around the time I was finishing secondary school and sitting my final exams. Listening to this is a mix of happy and sad because I truly miss those times and to think it was 10 years ago! I listen to all kinds of music from different eras but I honestly think music in 2011/2012 has it's own era too! Love this song❤️

I've been reading through the comments on here, and oh my days your comment stood out. This song was played at the end of my sons funeral a few years ago, it was his ring tone on his phone. I love it, sometimes I cry to it, other times I sing as loud as possible, or I just listen. It is so powerful and has so much meaning. The other thing that stood out that you wrote was the name mushy, my other half my sons dad is nick named mush/mushy. Thankyou for writing your comment :)
