I don't usually comment on KZbin, but this song really resonated with me. My friend introduced me to Rudimental years ago, though not this particular song. He sadly passed away in April 2017 due to a drug overdose, a consequence of years of addiction. He often shared how bullying in his youth led him to drugs as a way to escape and find acceptance. I believe he often started to do drugs since the world wasn't as he expected it to be. Yesterday, I skydived for the first time, such an experience. At 29, I've had my own struggles and I have probably drinked more than I should haha, but I feel I'm on the right track. I believe my friend would be proud. It's incredibly liberating to be free from the opinions of others, free from societal expectations, and free from the ghosts of childhood bullies. Love to all, and keep smiling

In the realm of my heart, this song will forever belong to Elina. I met her during a night out in Madrid and I was unaware of what she would spark on me over the course of a scarce bundle of hours and a shared whiskey. I absorbed as much of her life and story as I could. In the end and after attempting to stay in touch with her to no avail, I am now left with this song which will forever be my representation of her. It's what I’ve got left as the picture of her face and the sound of her voice gradually wanes into all of my sunsets. She may never know the things inside me that she healed with her gentle gaze and soul. Here’s to our freedom my dear!

I have struggled with depression, being bullied, misunderstood, not accepted, and looking for love in all the wrong places since the day I was born - and it continues on despite being in my 30's. Music has always been my escape, my comfort, and a connection that speaks to my soul. I've heard many songs that seem to be written just for me and my crappy life, but none of them fit 100%, until I heard this song. It's comforting to know that there is someone else out there who feels exactly as I do, regardless of the reasons why, and can articulate it so sincerely, so beautifully that it speaks straight to the hearts and souls of listeners spanning the globe. I seriously listen to this track repeatedly, even though it makes me cry a lot of the time, but it never gets played out.

the probable reason for his turning over was that all the muscles he had to use to keep his arms extended for lift were fatigued. flipping over gave him a few seconds to rest those muscles by bringing different ones into play

You guys are ruining it for me lol. If it had to be for technical reasons, then I would assume he did it to slow himself down. But I still prefer to think of the the mid air flip as something spiritual rather than for technical reasons. The red suit, flying, and overcoming odds all remind me of a phoenix rising from the ashes.

There's something really beautiful, that even at lonely, dark nights, I find this music an escape through all the bullshit that's happening around, all the memories and wondering if I am the problem, if it was my fault, and if only I could just... " Be free ". Hopefully, you all won't let go, will stay positive and this beautiful song will help you out more the way it helped and still helps till this day. " And maybe there's something wrong with me, but at least I am free, oh.. I am free. Job 5:8-16 "But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He bestows rain on the earth; he sends water upon the countryside. The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success. He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night. He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth." Call upon the name of the Lord, give your problems to Him and He will restore your life You can keep on vomiting negativity, I cannot keep it for myself - God is GOOD and He DID bless these people with talent, I am MORE than free to say it on KZbin. Also, I experience how God delivers my prayers, as prayer goes up Blessings come down, to those who BELIEVE. You cannot tell me prayer is meaningless. richard cranium Thomas van Vessem

The perfect song for a lone wolf like myself - and it wasn’t by design. I always found it challenging connecting with others beneath a surface level. Maybe something’s wrong me. I travel a lot, and at least I am free 😊.

Lucas Cheriani The only part in your comment that is "off" is when you say "... for the songs". Their videos are brilliant and their music is at the same level. They have very different styles inside the group and that can be seen with the "Home" album were you can get from full drum & bass in "Feel the Love" or "Not giving in" to way calmer musics like this one or "Powerless". As +Aria Forest said, it's like the music was made for the videos.

2021 hello, I just want to say not only is this song probably one of the single most things that kept me from suicide 5 years ago. The comment section is nothing but love. I love you all and want to say thank you. The first time I watched this video and heard the song, when he jumps it sent shivers down my whole spine and lifted this huge weight off my shoulder. Till that point I didn’t realize the boy and the guy where the same person but then it hit me! This song speaks a powerful message to all of us and I think that’s what gave me and every single commenter the courage to speak about their problem. Which many of us may not have even mentioned it to close family/ friends. But this song gave all of us a voice it seems like! So here’s a hug to anyone who is reading this and thanks again. Your all fantastic people! Stay happy and healthy

One little thing that may be of some interest to a few: The steadi-cam shots from the chopper make it seem like the mountain ridges are moving in opposite directions. This is a great illustration of Einstein's Theory of Relativity....the steadi-cam, which is moving in the chopper, gives the illusion of it being the reference frame for the observer, who senses his reference frame as stationary. From the assumption that the stead-cam is stationary, all else seems to be moving in ways we don't experience with our own eyes either standing on the ground or traveling in a plane of chopper. Note how in scenes shot by the guy's helmet cam, the cool "relativity" effect of the steadi-cam is missing.
