@@PULSEMusicGroup I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I got it, installed it but the program won't load in maschine. I can see it and play the sounds but I get an error saying it can't find it. I did all the troubleshooting steps on NI website but to no avail. May got a bad file or something. I didn't have this problem with Empire Breaks. I got all excited to get it but ran into a hiccup. Lol.

So, I have empire breaks and almost every expansion for maschine and massive x with the collector’s edition 14. Also omnisphere, trilian, stylus rmx, keyscape, vital, melody sauce 2, scaler 2, captain plugins, session percussionist, uvi percussion factory, several thenatan plugins, and stepic. Not quite sure what to go for next. As previously mentioned, I keep coming back to rudiments, especially since it’s only $25 right now. But with all I have I feel like I might be wasting money by buying it simply because it’s on sale. I also have stream deck mobile for iPad which will come in handy with cubase 13 pro. Been thinking about ujam striiings as I have a few ujam plugins and really dig them. Having become somewhat familiar with my laboratory, and given the extensive experience/knowledge you have with so many vst’s, is there anything you’d recommend for me. I’m a Smooth Jazz producer for myself and many other artists, but I’m always trying to mix different genres into it, especially r&b, hip hop, pop, latin and funk. Really looking forward to your thoughts, thank you in advance. 🎹♥️

Well you already have your answer. Rudiments is perfect and will fit every form of your type of music. Trust and believe me man. You have to get Rudiments!!! You have a lot of the ones I have of course, I have Komplete Ultimate Collections but without question you have to get Rudiments if you don't have it already. It really holds it down and makes some great hits. And I need to get my Stream deck. Been thinking about that for a while now. But I love your set of tools in the arsenal family. I love the drums but I've never been able to get the patterns to sync to my DAW tempo. If I drag and drop the midi file it does, but when I'm auditioning patterns it doesn't. The only drum player/machine that won't.

Really? What's DAW are you using and are you using Maschine inside your DAW? I use Cubase and I use Maschine as a VST and when I am playing and producing I just use the drag and drop feature that way and never have a sync issue becaue it's in WAV form at that point. Reaper without maschine. There's no sync to DAW button like every other drum machine. I can drag and drop but playing preset patterns don't sync.@@PULSEMusicGroup

Thank you for helping me. I use Reaper, windows 10 and Kontakt 7 to run NI Drum player libraries like Rudiments. I finally figured out - with help from many of you - that the NI drum players are not like the typical drum machine/players , like XO, Playbeat, Ujam. Rudiments DOES automatically adjust to the tempo of the DAW session, but DOES NOT auto adjust and sync/snap to the grid. So, if I’m playing a present pattern, I need to manually lock it in to the grid. If I’m off the downbeat a little bit when I strike C3 on the keyboard to play a pattern, Rudiments will not adjust it for me - it will be off. Also, if I’m latching and I switch to a different pattern - going from 88bpm to 140 bpm for example -XO, Ujam, etc will auto adjust the tempo and snap the new pattern to the grid. Rudiments will not. The new pattern in Rudiments will sound like garbage. I need to start over each time I switch to a new set of patterns and manually lock the new pattern to the grid. A little cumbersome, but now that I finally understand what the limitations are of the NI drum players, I can deal with it. It doesn’t explain this in the manual and I didn’t finally get an answer from NI tech support (after more than a month of trying) till yesterday. Maschine may auto correct & snap the preset pattern to the grid, but it doesn’t work that way in Kontakt 7. Thank you, again. Gordon@@PULSEMusicGroup
