subway contstruction is very mature now. Tunnel boring machines is also much cheaper compate before. NYC might be old but currently expanding. so many tunneling works in new york as of this moment might be in full ooeratoons in 10 years. .

@@lolzlatoz-ih4vv These tunnel boring machines are cheap yet they do the job perfectly. What is the use of buying very expensive things when you can go cheap. It is just a waste of money. The problem with the USA is they keep on doing the same things over and over with no plan to upgrade to something that would equal that of the modern subway stations of Singapore or even Bangkok with fully air conditioned train stations and full height platform screen doors.

This project is already too delay ,as of now only 6 station have actual diggings, 3 TBMs only are active on digging mode.how can finish it this on time.

The train to be used is the same train used in the North South Commuter Railway. This is because the Metro Manila Subway trains will also go to the North South Commuter Railway from Bicutan Station to Calamba Station. This train is the longest train used in a modern railway in Southeast Asia. The model has been named EM 10000 Class by its manufacturer J-TREC. It is not against the law to build a subway. This is same subway system patterned after Tokyo Metro in Tokyo, Japan which is one of the worst place in the world with respect to earthqaukes and Tsunamis.Every year, Japan has about 1,500 earthquakes that can be felt by people. In fact, some kind of seismic activity is recorded about once every five minutes. So far Tokyo Metro Subway was never affected by an earthquake. Actually as long as you are not in a fault line, the earthquake under ground is minimal compared to above ground. This is because the intensity of movement as you go up is increased. For example if you are in a 100 floor, you are more likely to feel more movement of the earthquake then you are on the first floor. That is why it is better to build a building underground but nobody does this because it is very expensive. If you have been to Tokyo there are very many places built underground, some people call it underground cities with a very complex network of passages deep underground and some even leading to subway train stations. This inspite of it being the worst place for earthquakes and nothing was ever afftected by earthqaukes.
