Back in the day I bought a pack of Chronicles and the first card was a black bordered Time Walk. Freaked out back then, but I kept it with my collection throughout the years. Just this past year I decided to sell my collection and sent a couple of my best cards in for grading. BGS sent it back all jacked up with a letter explaining that it was actually a counterfeit printed on a Storm Crow. On the Storm Crow was a note that said “May your taco be forever floppy; enjoy the reback, your pal, Rudy”.

Those tempest packs were weird, the 2nd to last card was the rare, and the other 3 in the last 4 were uncommon. I opened up a whole box of tempest recently and in all of them the first 3 were uncommon and the 4th was a rare, so not only is yours reversed, but also swapped a bit. Ps i only got 1 wasteland the whole box so seeing you get one on the 2nd pack was =p

even with the Battlebond reprint, Land Tax is #2 and Mana Crypt is #1 in the pricing. Library #3 and Strip mine #4. Mine is the most expensive Uncommon and Lighting Bolt is the most expensive common. The most expensive 4th Edition rare hits 80 but that is the Alternate 4th Edition, which was only leaked as a Starter Deck and the rest were destroyed. They were printed by US Playing Card Company in Ohio, if your in the OH area, i bet your more likely to come across them and not know it. They don't fade, they got a darker back.

Rudy! I live in a small town in Northern California and I was at the local (and only) LGS chatting with the employee and he told me about some young kid who bought a fat pack from the local target, everything looked normal (according to him at least) but started opening packs and every pack was 15 basic lands and a token so the kid brought a few of the packs unopened to the lgs and the owner opened them and same results and he looked the packs over and they looked okay to him. I’m assuming it was something someone bought, resealed, and returned HOWEVER a few weeks later I was 13 hours from where I live in a very busy populated area and decided to check out the local Walmart and they had a huge selection of mjholdings cubes most of them looked like they had been there awhile as they were covered in dust but 2/3rds had been searched for commander decks already. I ended up buying one for fun and although everything looked factory sealed to me and I’ve watched all your videos about how to tell if somethings resealed the front card in the “deck” was a regular uncommon card but when I opened the the plastic wrap the whole rest was basic lands. Just proof it doesn’t matter where you buy from there’s rudyfina repacked everywhere!

Modern masters is a decent set. I took a gamble at grand prix and bought 3 packs and pulled a foil force of will. I sold it to the vendor right there for 200 out of the 375 it was worth. That covered the 75 dollar entry fee to gp and a third of my grixis build. Not too shabby
