Duncan era was coming close to an end so they prepared and had a guy in place to take over seamlessly and he weirded out got traded to Canada in what has to be the craziest trade ever because it was supposed to be a big F U and actually ended up swinging a title 🤣 But then again in retrospect you know now that Kawhi is either soft or his knee is destroyed so all in all you got lucky and then you got lucky again.

Nobody lied about his injuries situation. One of the reasons Melo said what he did was because the Spurs said he had a degenerative condition with his thigh and it has turned out to be true. The guy refused to keep the team up to date of his recovery after they turned over the rehab to his people. Rudy is pretty much pointing this out in the video, while being diplomatic

So what I got from this is Kawhi Leonard was basically being unprofessional because he didn’t get what he wanted while he was under contract. We CRUCIFY Harden, KD, Carmelo and Kyrie for wanting to be traded while being professional. I think hindsight shows that Kawhi was right about being cautious with his injury, you’re right in the sense that Kawhi doesn’t get the same heat as other players who have “forced” their way out of teams.
