It'd be cool to see you take the lifted version on the same trail as before. Not using 4wd. Just do see how much better she goes

Gonna comment to bump this to the top! Would be pretty interesting to see.
@Bigtexbbq2 жыл бұрын
That would be pretty good. I’d bet they wouldn’t go around twice through to show 2wd vs 4wd. They’d probably go 2wd and 4wd in one go on that trail to save time. Not sure how long that trail takes to complete but thats my bet if they do this.

I was about to say Rudy you're a fabricator man you don't need no custom Jack for transmission you can build your bracket. I built one out of wood to take the transmission out of my Chevy 4 wheel drive years ago worked great. Crazy thing was my brother-in-law make fun of it next thing I know he's asking to borrow it so he can take the transmission out of his Chevy

The case hardening on the rear output shaft of the transfer case should only be 0.05" or so. Maybe 0.1" max. It's just to make the surface of the splines harder to resist wear. Glad to see that worked because I am going to do the same thing on my transfer case.

Perfect stance! I had 4 Ford Ranger Ex Cabs With the 4.0 v6's that were lifter 6" and had 35's. They all had tow packages, so they had 3:73.1 limited slip Gears, 1 had 4:10.1's. The ground clearance wheelbase and gears seemed like the perfect setup. They went anywhere I asked. Every time I watched you with the group 4 wheeling, I knew a little bit about what you had in the Jeep and I always said Rudy will outperform all these guys if he gets a rig done up right. I live in Missouri so we don't have a ton of rock crawling it is a lot like Bleepin Jeep in the woods and a lot of rock out cropping's. Peeled a few license plates off. They were my daily drivers to, so no body or bumper modifications

Nice work Rudy! Really awesome to see you fabricate your own trans mount for your jack! I just went through renting a trans jack and honestly getting it on and off the truck 6 times over all from renting (pickup,use,dropoff) was the hardest part of the whole damn swap. Really appreciate and respect the work you are cranking out. Way to get her done bud! Cant wait to see where this build goes.

@MattsAwesomeStuff2 жыл бұрын
@@ingvarhallstrom2306 And then after it breaks do you fix it better? No, you fix it worse, because you're in an even bigger rush to slap a temporary fix on it because you weren't expecting it to break on you. Thus the cycle of bodges continues.

G'day Rudy and Janelle. Nice 👍 job on the Jeep. did you have any problem fitting the gearbox. You showed the basics but is the box manual or automatic. Also as I understand it, the gearbox would need holes in the floor pan for the gear levers. Also is the tunnel different
