● I love Rue and I love Jules but the relationship they have is a really problematic one. "When I first met her I was just immediately in love. As soon as I saw her I was just immediately afraid to lose her." The way Rue idealized Jules from the second she saw her... The way her mental state crashed everytime Jules didn't act the way she had hoped... This is not love. That's obsession. That's addiction. Unfortunately I used to be in a similar relationship and it takes some time to understand what's actually going on. The realization was incredibly painful but necessary and I hope Rue will get there before it's too late. That's what Rues story is about. Her addiciton and the attempt to break free from it.
●I thought it would take more episodes until #Rules starts to crumble but I guess we are already here. It's already going downhill. I really liked the scene with Rue and Elliot. The way he's genuinely interested and asked about her dad and her addiction.. the fact that he is well aware that their friendship might not be the best idea. I really enjoyed that.. it felt really honest.
