His dad posted a video of him limping into the stadium for New Mexico on Nov 16th so I think it’s highly unlikely he has been practicing or playing just yet. Not trying to throw a damper on the parade but don’t want to get our hopes up to be disappointed.

I’d find it weird if they tag him with doubtful if they don’t think he can get snaps. Why show your hand before he actually CAN come back?

@ true but I think the SEC is pretty stern that the injury reports be accurate in the sense that if there’s a better than 0% chance of him playing, they can’t list said player as out but I could be wrong on that. A lot depends on when Reuben started be able to start practicing again whether it was this week or potentially even 2 weeks ago

@@Drewtamu 100%, my guess is he can probably go, but don't want to use him just yet if they don't have to. He's probably still building strength and getting his feet back and coaches are being cautious and don't want to take any chances. I do think this means the Texas game is on the table.

@nobleguy2019 they haven’t had to report since before the SC game. So it could have been the bye week he started getting on the field. I still think he legitimately could play this weekend if they’re even willing to go doubtful

I don't think he's gonna be back this week, doubtful in my mind still says not playing but is not in a long term injury situation/is week to week coming off of one usually, but for tu though? I can see a couple carries there if he's lifted to questionable next week. Would definitely like to have him back to get him some game reps before then obviously, but I just don't like the odds there.

Doubtful means you more than likely are actively practicing with the team. You don't really get to maybe play a game if you aren't practicing, so yes, RO is back. He could absolutely play this weekend. This is also big news bc of what these next two games mean to us, and having his status change for the first time all year is super promising.
