I was once deep in a Canadian forest just south of the Boreal forest, bear country, in the prairies with my dirt bike buddies. We tried getting across some big land and water locked my bike. I was stuck deep intue woods on my own as they had to go get rope to pull the bike back to base camp, 4 hours later they turned up. Solid mates. I had to leave my on as the mosquitoes were eating me alive. I was tired, scared and fed up. Few days later we got to wrenching on the small engine (Honda 400x)…. Gallons! Gallons of oil flushing and a lot of ball ache. I just can’t imagine the damage to these Mercedes and modern cars. You absolute plonkers!

Because the alternative route is 4 miles longer (5-10 minutes tops) and people who drive these sorts of expensive cars cannot possibly sacrifice a few extra minutes of their super important lives to take the sensible route. When the river is low it is barely a puddle across the road and perfectly passable for most vehicles but it does rise quickly after heavy rain and during the winter.

Did I spot it right, that the name of the towing company is "Richford"? This can`t be a coincidence xD

Sure it isn't. Sure that they get quite a few callouts to this spot. It's renowned for it.

Cars, said to be the second biggest investment you can make after a house…yet you have countless idiots wrecking them, even 21 plates….they just keep coming 🤷‍♂️ Where do you stand with insurance on such negligence?

Sheesh.......the white van guy really was ignorant of mechanics. We could literally HEAR a rod snapping, and the engine seizing 🤢 Get your credit card out, dude !! Silver Merc guy didn't realise his posh motor is breathing from below the engine. Was built for maximum performance on roads, was not built as a boat....

Because life for you has become purposeless. You clearly find no comfort in human interactions so instead seek visual stimulation. Seeing someone else's misfortune fills you with a perverted sense of glee and helps to reassure yourself that you are not the foolish one and that there are many people more foolish than you. Not sure if that helps but that's the reason I watch it 🤔

Imagine driving up to a submerged road, and there are literally dozens of people holding their smartphones up recording, giving you huge smiles as if to say "go on, idiot, step forward", and you actually go.

"I didn't realise it was that deep" says white van man. Does he not know what the water flood gauge is for. I'm also coming to the conclusion that the public should stay back and let the professionals move the vehicles. If some good samaritan gets injured I don't think the stranded motorist or their insurers would be sympathetic to the cost of an injury claim. Great entertainment as ever though Tom. Keep up the good work.
