I bought this machine a few months ago and I have to be honest it is the Best machine I have used with extraction. My old vax and Bissell left the carpet quite wet but the rug doctor left them pretty much dry. I'll never go back.

I bought mine a year ago only opened it up today I moved home last year and finally decided to give my light silver grey ish brand new carpets a clean they have been down a year boy I was impressed with the cleaning power The rug doctor came from a once very well known midnight shopping channel with all the extras cleaning solutions included £50 quids worth…extra

I have a good idea for a video, involving the Hoover Powerdrive you just unboxed and this cleaner! What if after you got the Powerdrive fixed up and proper, you do a big mess test with it, vacuum up the dry debris with the Powerdrive then use this machine to wash the carpet afterwards? I'm sure it would be a difficult video to make and I'm sure you'd need time to get the Powerdrive ready, but I (And I'm sure others) would love to see it!

Brought this last year.. Only cleaned the sitting room, and today did the two bedroom carpets. And landing area and the steps.. And then sitting room and then the softa.. About the water extraction 100% carpets sofa super clean

Oh, another subject Did you used your Thomas more times? I’m thinking about to change my rainbow for one of those I used to have one, the first model they made called Twin TT, it was amazing, super strong but the water filtration didn’t work that well as it does now

I was really impressed by this results A carpet that has regular vacuuming will stand brand new using this machine!! I had an aquamate for my rainbow e2 silver and it was awkward to use and not much maneuverable.. Then a Bissell Crosswave that was awesome but bulky.. No I have a Central Vac from Beam, my maid uses it, a Shark HV 300 with the hero hard floor that I use almost e every day to keep the floors tidy and the rainbow for some occasions..

Did you vacuum the rug before use? You'd be amazed how much dirt you can exstract vacuuming prior due to it drying. You could see clumps of hair & dirt that wet vacs just won't get up. Your reviews are brilliant.

I always vacuum thoroughly before washing my carpets, but probably not in the case of the rug I used for this demo.

It’s a horrible rug doctor I’ve had one from new, I sold it and bought an rug doctor mighty pro for spares or repair, I spent time and money restoring it and the date of manufacture of my rug doctor is 1999 still original pump and motor from factory, I’ve just replaced brush bar, upholstery nozzle and power cable mine has an 13 meter power cable on it now. It was worth selling this model for one I’ve now, I’ve done jobs etc with it, I would advise purchase of prochem solutions or karchër RM232 tablets or powder,not the rug doctor as they only foam up giving the effect of cleaning the carpet and all it removes is dust nothing deep down. I also own a karchër 8/1c for doing upholstery and car interiors I use karchër powder or tablets in that, and the professional solutions dry to a powder that can be vacuumed out as they have an encapsulates the dirt meaning it can be used with microfibre pads on a floor buffer to low moisture clean.
