English fan here - I love the French team of old; Blanco, Berbizier, Rodriguez, Charvet, Ondarts, etc. The purist, most beautiful form of rugby. I just wish the modern French team could be like this.

As an Australian i hate this Result but it shows how good the international team that France had in 1987 and this is why they will have to be watched at 2019 Japan with the side they have even thou their form hasn't been up to scratch lately.

Enfant, ce fut mon match d'initiation. De l'hémisphère nord, je me souviens d'émotions à l'aube, l'aube d'une vie de rugby . Blanco, Sella, Campese , à jamais !

Et pourtant... On jouait à quinze contre seize... Je crois que c'est mon meilleur souvenir de rugby, et le pire pour mon ex-femme: je regardais le match après une nuit blanche en hurlant, tandis qu'elle cherchait à dormir!!!!

Notice how mobile the French Forwards are so mobile and athletic...that Blanco try was the result of the great work from the forwards including the prop Ondarts..they were not only powerful in the scrum but also could read a game, pass , kick and do whatever...great video

I agree. But no way was the IRB going to allow France to beat NZ in the 2011 RWC final in NZ. Joubert favored the All Blacks in every 50-50 call.

J'aime bien....les blessures australiennes reflètent l'accumulation des matchs....LOL c'était juste l'accumulation de mauvais coups des rugbymen français à cette époque !! L'art de la discrétion dans la bouffe ou le coup de latte héhé :))

parce qu il fallait un buteur , Mesnel étant indispensable à l ouverture mais ne butant pas . Fouroux avait alors décidé de placer Cambé à l aile pour s assurer la présence d un buteur fiable .

camberabero est arrive pendant la coupe du monde,il n etait pas la au depart de la competition,suite a la blessure d un trois quart il a ete appele de france pour renforcer le groupe et ca tombait bien puisqu il butait.
