Aucun joueur au monde n'a sans doute fait un aussi grand match en CDM que Titou Lamaison sur ce coup là. Essai, jeu au pied, au charbon en défense, sang froid... Magne ,Dominici ,Galtier, Tamack, Dourthe mort de faim... Quelle belle équipe ce jour là !

C'est marrant comme Lamaison n'a pas laissé une trace extraordinaire dans l'histoire du rugby français, contrairement à d'autres. Alors que ne serait-ce que sur ce match, il apparaît clairement comme un des meilleurs 10 du XV de france. Et pas seulement pour ses coups de pied.

RIP Jonah Lomu. What a special guy. He flew to South Africa to comfort Joost vd Westhuizen as was dying from Moto neurone disease. Jonah himself was dying from kidney disease. Awesome man Jonah. So sad we have lost these great guys. The true spirit of rugby. Damn I love this game.

From a proud Welshman, best 25 minutes of rugby in the WC. Still makes the hair on my arms go up, the forwards and Lamaison were unbelievable. French rugby at its best and the best team to have never won it. Hopefully it will happen playing rugby like that, it is one of my favourite rugby memories.

The reason being I'm Welsh and kicked a wall so hard I lost a toenail when we let Shaunn Edwards who's now their defense coach go....and that's the end of Wales. But this Fench team made e remember being kid when Wales and France played the best rugby ever seen, and I want them to win a WC they so deserve it

@@michaelverstraet Yeh I think Wales's best chance of winning one was 2011 but our captain got sent off against France after 17 minutes in the semi but that's not France's fault. It's in France this time too, those forwards are beasts and the scrum-half and back play like watching Serge Blanco back in the day, lovely to see again. Rugby needs a good French side as you are the ONLY country that strikes FEAR into New Zealand. Good luck boys

thank you France for such a brilliant game. its been 18 years since this match and yet l have never been tired of uploading and watching this video in the computer almost everyday since 1999. how l wish that you may continue to beat the ABs in world cup matches in the future because they are so arrogant thinking no team can beat them. the other heavyweights such as the wallabies, england and south africa are dead scared of the ABs but you are not. thanks for the memories and l believe the French team deserved to be awarded with the highest French national award (legion of honour) in recognition of this brilliant and memorable win

Now we are to slow, we play much with the forward players than the back one ( I hope u understand this sentence 😅). We unfortunately let our game our identity, for the game of the others team... I think you are very mistaken to think The All Blacks are so arrogant that no other team can beat them, Every team the All Blacks play always have a chance to beat them, and when they do, they deserve it. Never have I heard any All Black team, Captain, coach say they don't deserve to beat us. The fact is the All Blacks are a very good team, and are very hard to beat. Je me souviendrais toujours de ce Lamaison là (28 points marqués). Ces deux drops consécutifs réussis où je me disais que c'était vraiment ce qu'il fallait faire (le début de la remontée improbable), puis les deux pénalités réussies elles-aussi. Bon on était toujours menés de 24 à 22 après ça. Ensuite une magie est survenue… Dommage que la vidéo ne montre pas la haie d'honneur des All-Blacks pour les vainqueurs parce que ça c'était un grand moment de fair-play de la part des All-Blacks. Pitié Grand Ciel, rendez nous ce rugby français qui ne peut résider en d'autrefois.

I think French rugby has the same problem as English football, when you have the richest leagues in the world for your respective sport, all the big names come to pick up their big wages and it stumps the growth of your own youth coming through the system and then you end up with a national side that are a poor example of what they were before the money came in.

hmmmm, c'est pas la seule fois que je vois un AB faire une obstruction pour empêcher un défenseur Français de monter sur le porteur du ballon qui a en conséquence, champ libre pour l'essai (1999, dernier essai AB, en 2011 un copié collé) il serait intéressant de voir si cela se reproduit plus souvent et, que les arbitres y prête attention... logiquement, avec l'arbitrage vidéo, cela devrait bien moins passer

Le match en fait se gagne avant le coup d'envoi : les français entrent en transe, ils pleurent durant la Marseillaise, les blacks et leur haka n'arriveront pas à être aussi transcendants. Les français ne forment alors qu'un être remplis d'une confiance inébranlable....le reste marquera l'histoire du rugby et du sport en général.

Petite question pour les spécialistes, je m'interroge sur le retour défensif néo-zélandais à 28:23. Peut-être bien qu'il a réussi à aplatir dans l'en but mais l'impression que j'ai sur les images c'est que dans sa glissade, c'est lui qui emporte le ballon EN DEHORS. Alors je veux pas un débat pour savoir si c'est ce qui s'est passé, mais je voudrais savoir ce qui se passerait dans ce cas.

Sauf qu'ici l'arbitrage vidéo est moins poucé quand 2015 donc l'arbitre a jugé que le ballon était déjà sortit par le Français, c'est alors un renvois au 22m ou mêlée à l'endroit ou le ballon a été tiré (au choix) pour les Alls Blacks.
