I was thrilled to see you reacting to my Seahawks. We no longer have the LOB 😢. Earl is now with Baltimore, Richard is with San Francisco and Kam is now retired due to a neck injury (breaks my heart). We still have Bobby and KJ along with some wonderful new young talent. We’ll be alright but I will always miss my guys (I’m a defense girl 👍). Side note: @6:30- the man who raised the flag was our owner, Paul Allen. We lost Paul to cancer last season- October, I think. He owned the team for 20+ years. He save football in Seattle because we almost lost our team and helped us get a new stadium because the Kingdome was falling apart. RIP Paul Allen 🙏. Go Hawks!! 12

Kam’s hit in the first quarter against Thomas changed the game. After that hit no one wanted to catch the ball. He hit him so hard it knocked him back around 7 or 8 yards from the hit. And that also made me comment at Skip Bayless when before the game he said Kam will look silly on that defense out there. LoL a

Most bad ass defense of all time. Won a super bowl on like the 3rd defensive snap of the game against the Broncos. It was over after that.

That defense had 11 pro bowl level players out of 11 I believe. Which is ridiculous. Most have 2 or 3. Thomas, Sherman, chancellor, Browner, Wagner, Wright, Avril, Bennett, Bryant, Mebane, Irvin. Maxwell was the only starter during that time who didn’t make the pro bowl at some point in his career, but he came in for an injured browner and kept the job. Malcolm Smith was a part time starter and I don’t think he ever made the pro bowl, but he got Super Bowl MVP.

When I played football in high school, I played cornerback and safety, so when the Seahawks started to become known for their secondary, it was really cool for me, growing up in Seattle and watching this team practically my whole life. That team was fun and I miss them. Seattle has never had a team that good before.

I grew up in Seattle and was a youth player, and a 40+ year fan of football, and the era of the Legion of Boom was special and rare. I feel so lucky and privileged to have witnessed and enjoyed their success. My #1 bucket list is to attend a game at the Clink to experience the energy and noise that only the 12's can bring. 10:03 it's funny that you said that, because coming out of college into the NFL, Sherman was viewed as "too slow", and they were right, because Sherman ran a 4.7 40 yard dash at the combine, and as a corner he would be covering receivers who had run 4.4-4.5. He didn't let that stop him

I loved LoB when they were together but it's debatable on where they rank on the all time defense list. Personally, the '85 Bears and 2000 Ravens are the two defenses sitting at the top that I think no team will ever recreate. If there's videos about them two I highly suggest giving those defenses a look! Ray Lewis, Rod Woodson, McAlister and Duane Starks was a very scary combo and Baltimore's D-Line was insane that year as well on top of that.

Yes, the LOB was the defensive backs - safeties and corners. They also had excellent line backers and very good D-line. Best defense ever? People can argue about that. Chicago, Tampa Bay, Baltimore will definitely argue. Those were my guys though. and that was a fun time to be a Seahawks fan.

If you ever get a chance check out the 2012 playoff game at Atlanta. Came back from 20 down in the 4th to take a 1 point lead with 37 seconds left. Atlanta got a miracle field goal but very nearly an epic comeback. Or anything from the second of half of 2012 that team was on a roll.
