Looking at 4:40, the easiest, most often forgotten skill of rugby. Carry the ball in two hands. If that ball is tucked under one arm, the defenders smash Cooper. As he has support runners and has the ball in both, they have to stand off, and he has enough space, and gas to glide past them. So simple, but gorgeous

Really nice skills and great vid! Would appreciate it if you included more Springbok, blitbok and South African club team clips in your vids. Your focus is already super rugby and sevens, feel like some more even representation for both SA and Aus (even some of Argentina and Japan) would be very welcome. It's nice to see Fiji get some love! Such few SA clips are the only thing stopping me from subbing if I'm honest...

We're working on the rules of "Isolation Rugby". Its a bit like touch rugby except you have to use a 2m stick, or the long rest from a snooker table, or one of those extendable things for holding up your washing line. Ruck and maul proving a bit tricky to develop rules for.

"In the end, it's Ben Youngs who makes the tackle" - said as Youngs is completely wrong-footed and the player is hit by the #6 flanker. Still, understandable mistake as Youngs is usually not upright, so it is hard to tell a 9 from a 6.

the backhand pass is actually under-coached - I remember in U14 been crapped on by my coach for one - where the fella i passed the ball to scored ... Another observation is that the back hand pass never tends to go forward. so there's that !!

Would that rugby in this day an age were more like the "15 minutes" of video highlights. Laws, or their interpretation, since 1995 have made the game more "smash and bash" then run and pass....and to accommodate to that change players are bigger and as nature decrees not given to 80 or 90 minutes, so are substituted for. Injuries skyrocket to match those (and some instances surpass) those of American gridiron football ( which for 20 years has endured one law suit after another at the professional level). And "icing" on the cake, commentators openly invoke or praise "brutality", where "Law" books carried by referees used to note in the appendix any action taken by any player even within the Laws calculated in the mind of the referee to injure was to be dealt with by the player being "sent off". I played for 19 years in US and England. I would not, as a young man today, choose to participate in the game as is.....
