These last couple of years, France has really brought something to rugby I think. Their playstyle is so unique with incredible players, and they just seem to keep getting better and stronger. Can't wait for them to hopefully win in 2027 !

Certainly the most beautiful rugby in the world for years. Unfortunately, whatever the beauty of its aerial game, inspired, athletic, refined, the French team has always been a victim of refereeing. What happened in 1995 against the South Africans, in 2011 against the New Zealanders and again in 2023 against South Africa shows the permanence of absolutely incomprehensible refereeing. To hope to win a World Cup one day, the French will have to be even better than today.

Difficile, on est souvent pénalisé injustement dans les matchs de qualification, être meilleurs ne changerait pas grand chose au résultat, je pense.

France will surely win the World Cup final, or at least be a finalist, but without the political wheeling and dealing and cheating, they should have been world champions in 1995 (5 tries disallowed against the Boks, that was political) and 2011 (Mc Caw's impunity, and there too the All Blacks had to win at home). Which would normally make her a triple world champion. Today with Dupont, Bielle Barrey, Ramos, Meafou, Mauvaka and many other this is the best international rugby team. France has the toughest and toughest championship and an unrivalled renewal of talented players (France is always the winner or at least a finalist in the U20 every year). With the right refereeing (i.e. no political wheeling and dealing), she's unstoppable. But New Zealand also have a very good generation and something they have often lacked: power everywhere. And of course there are the Boks and the Irish. That promises some great matches.

Maybe I understand French flair in a wrong way but for me, from their best current XV the only French flair type of player is Penaud - so relaxed, looks like he's making no effort. The rest of the team are more or less no-nonsense type of players. For some reason we saw Ntamack only 2-3 times in this video. Another super relaxed and confident magician, I reckon his absence was the main factor in their unsuccessful RWC.

Very interesting pov but I don’t agree. Many players like Jalibert, Ramos or even Mauvaka (I’m not even talking about Dupont here) look absolutely effortless and have all the safe-confidence and trust of their peers to dare anything. As for N’tamack, he has a more strategical approach and is a very good tactician but he also knows when to play it (like against the AB from the try line or in Top14 final against La Rochelle)

The French flair is an idea of Rugby, where the ball is alive, where there is no stereotypes like the pick and go, up and under... Where the ball can be moved from a wing to another, where you are not calculating anymore and just play to score a try. And to be 100% honest, the team who usually plays that type of rugby better than us, is the All Black. Which is why we respect them so much. It's when school rugby gives way to improvisation. This is also called champagne rugby.

France become one of the best team in the world. It's come from team like Toulouse where Rugby is a religion as all the South West of France. It's amazing how there are children who choose Rugby better than football for instance. That means a selection of players more strict. French rugby is became real pro. I think the french rugby will last for a while as a very good team. AS French I support France but overall the Rugby World as play than as his culture. I hope that rugby will extend in more and more countries. Sorry for my bas english.

C'est un rugby très aérien, beaucoup plus dynamique et esthétique à regarder que le rugby des années 1970 / 1980 à l'époque, il y avait une quantité de moles et trop de mêlées, de plus les touches n'étaient pas délivrées selon les même règles. On peut dire en somme que le rugby est devenu aussi dynamique que le "football" américain et plus intéressant.
