Is it time we admit that sacking Dave Rennie was a huge mistake? We weren’t setting the World on fire with him, but replacing any coach 9 months before a World Cup is a terrible terrible idea.

Depends, look at Wales sacking Pissvac around the same time has done wonders. The difference is that Rennie's wallabies had heaps of injuries but was playing well. The ARU got tempted by the shiny Jones and believed the hype. The board should be sacked first.

Yes - it was clearly a bad decision at the time and even more so now. Rennie's team was competitive with the top teams on their day. This team would get destroyed by Ireland, South Africa and France.

As a Welsh fan I thought a few months ago, that we would be dumped out of the WC at the pool stage. The WRU were almost bankrupt, our players were threatening to go on strike because they had not been offered new contracts and our rugby regions were in turmoil. Fair play to Warren, he took a poisoined chalice and turned it into a nice pint of Welsh bitter. Cymru an byth!!❤😊

I'm from Georgia I'm not even from Australia but Australia was always my favorite team growing up, I used to study their games when Cooper, Mitchell, Giteau, and etc... were playing. I can't imagine how Aussies are feeling now. These players were lacking experience, decision making, adjusting and adapting to the situations. So many missed opportunities, so many bad calls, I've never seen anything like that from Australian team, Eddie should have had few more experienced players in the reserves at least. But i feel bad for Eddie too, there is only so much you can do if the guys don't want to play.

Is this a joke comment? Did you watch the video? How would you feel if your coach held a meeting with another national team days before the tournament? As SBW said, that isn’t someone I would run into battle for. It’s bad leadership regardless. This is completely on Eddie imo. The players were lost with no direction because their coach has one foot out the door. What a twat, I hope he’s removed as coach.

The pickings for future Wallabies are slim, Rugby in Australia is only available via pay TV for the rich, meanwhile Aussie Rules and League are on free to air, followed by all kids and adults. Wallabies need to keep importing Pacific Islanders just to field a side. Kids don’t watch rugby union, kids don’t want to play rugby union. Not because of this loss to Wales but rugby in Australia has died, it would be a mammoth effort to rebuild Australian Rugby.

That’s why they haven’t made any open contact with us. You see we are Gods favourite creation and they can’t handle knowing we are the best at everything and they want our DNA and genetic material so they can become as unique and creative as us and ultimately beat us at our own game (which is what they have done creating Human/reptilian hybrids and merging Human DNA with all other aliens), our governments are actually reptilians as well and we think they are human but ages ago they made secret deals with the aliens involving us humans. They traded Technology for human Abductions as long as the Abductees would be brought back. But they haven’t returned and have most likely been killed and tortured by the aliens. That’s why people who are older are always Grumpy and Sleep less because their pineal gland can’t release these natural chemicals. But to help counteract Fluoride go get a 7 Stage water filter*. And to Purge the body of these toxins use *Chlorella and Spirulina it will decalcify your pineal gland and help restore you. There is massive population control going on Chemtrails are one of them and are real but are called Geo Engineering now (they say they do it to reflect the suns rays and it helps stop global warming but that’s just a cover to slowly kill off the human race with all these chemicals they are spraying you with like aluminium, barium, strontium). You can help counteract this by bathing in Epson Salt or drinking it + it’s good for your skin. Demons are real. Angels are real and they are all evil some people like to differentiate them from Fallen Angels but an angel had to first be good in order to fall so all Angels are Fallen weather you like it or not they just need the right temptation and pressure and they will all fall Don’t trust them or look up to them. Never Channel a spirit or anything channeling is a reptilian trap to steal your energy, Spirit guides are all evil they will steal your energy, pretty much everything spiritual will steal your energy so I’d stay away there are other ways of finding answers than to channel a dead person into your body. (That’s literally what channeling is). Also never open Your Chakra system that’s also a trap to steal your energy. Lots of traps in this World, can’t trust anyone but intuition. Research the Flat Earth and subscribe to Eric Dubay on KZbin he has some really helpful videos about Health and Truth and I’d say he’s the main guy behind pushing the Flat Earth forward. So the earth is flat and motionless and the stars evolve around us but what people don’t know is those stars aren’t planets they are just lights stuck to the dome and instead there are an infinite amount of dimensions overlaying each other and we are in the 3rd dimension. And these aliens/reptilians come from the 4th dimension and yeah they came through the sun portal because the sun is actually a portal. And there is the 1st 2nd and 3rd dimension. (This may seem hard to believe but all truth is at this point in time only once enough people start talking about it do the sheeple start researching it but that takes years and by that time the information has already been suppressed and changed so sometimes you gotta be quick!) How can we even exist in the first place because we always need an outside force to create us and that outside force also needs another outside force to exist. Like if god created us then who created god another god? And that other god got created by another god? That’s impossible you see like how can consciousness exist in the first place when it needs another consciousness to create it and so on??? It’s like saying what came first the chicken or the egg. The tree or the seed. It’s all a perpetual motion and you start to realise how special it all is. To come from nothing to create everything without a single Stencel to shape us yet somehow it all comes together. It’s completely impossible 100% there is a God and it’s watching. But unfortunately God is a degenerate tyrant. He created you to not know so you would look up to him. God is nee dee he needs worship and attention 24/7 he created you as a lower being so he could control you. There is a reason you know nothing but question everything. If god really loved us he would just duplicate himself instead of creating a lower being. For instance dose god want to be a healpless animal searching for food trying desperately to survive??? No. So why would you create a being to go through that. I used to love and want gold fish but then I thought would I like to be trapped in there forever??? No. So why would I go buy a gold fish that makes me happy but really destroys someone else’s life. It’s just like this saying “Don’t give it, if you can’t take it” does god want a suffering human life? Like honestly god is so disconnected from us I think as soon as he experiences our pain and suffering he will just kill himself. Amen. God created us we didn’t create god. God needs us we don’t need god. And all the shit that comes with him. God I love u but you know...

English fans were enormously grateful to Eddie for taking us on a long unbeaten streak, winning two series in Australia, winning Six Nation championships and also getting us to a RWC final. But towards the end of his tenure in England Eddie seemed to write off the Six Nations saying he was just mainly concentrating on the RWC. To England fans who had paid hundreds of pounds for tickets to the Six Nations matches this was very annoying. We also started losing -a lot. Eddie seems to have used this RWC as an experience builder for a young Australian team so I can understand the Australian fans’ anger at the moment. Eddie really should have picked his best team for this RWC. Leaving out Michael Hooper, Foley and Cooper was insane.

England went out in shambles in 2015 with their first ever elimination from the pool stages. And when Eddie turned up, they were arguably one of the most dominant teams between that time and 2019 to become RWC Finalists! But the Wallabies have been in a slump for a long time now, and think it goes much deeper than just the coaching of the team, with behind the scenes stuff going on at the union in general. From a Bok fan, this is not the Wallabies that we always anticipated just as much as the All Blacks to play against all those years ago in the Tri-Nations, RWC matches etc. I still believe Eddie is a great coach and that he DOES have the power to turn things around in the years to come. But it's going to be a really long uphill climb to get out of this blackhole. And Eddie took the first step to admit that he was wrong, and that they just aren't good enough for now.

I am a very proud South African and an Eddie Jones fan. He has a track record second to none, helped a useless Jake White to turn SA around and win 2007 WC. He coached Japan to a victory over SA at 2015 WC. He coached England to a semi -final win over the All Blacks in 2019. Jones is truly world class and any personal remarks about his abilities smacks of short sightedness and lack of knowledge. Aussies should rather focus on getting more indigenous Australians, including Caucasian Australians , to take up the sport. The game of rugby will be much poorer without a strong Wallaby team.

He is an arrogant classless bully and I do not understand how people can play for such a dick. Would not be surprised if it came out later that he had lost the coaching staff and players. Michael Hooper probably smirked at him and that was the end of him. What a waste of a leader.

Englishman/Scotsman here. All rugby fans want to see a bold and successful Wallabies, you guys have been great for rugby over the years and we love the rivalry. Hang in there. My opinion is that Eddie doesn't become a bad coach over night, and he wasn't responsible for our financially broke Premiership Rugby, team scandals and demotions, contrasting and broken structure, or the boring and negative default mindset that pervades all our sport (except cricket currently), just as he isn't responsible for the long-running crisis going on with the structure of the game in Australia. After the witch-hunt and firing stirred by our press and the odd person who never achieved anything themselves, it would be a crying shame to see the same mistakes made in Australia. Yes Eddie is hard, and I've heard the claims he's too hard etc etc. But make no mistake, part of solving both of our current situations will be ridding ourselves of the negative, weak and reactionary voices that currently separate us both from the top teams, including making sure that young people actually play the game and come through a well structured and funded system. How Rugby Australia dropped the ball on this considering the rich heritage and legacy of the Wallabies is beyond me, and reaching for the pitch forks on Eddie (yet again) won't solve the problem. I notice it's usually those who never came good and have never demonstrated half his will and determination themselves who complain about him the most. Those actually culpable should be shouldering the responsibility and offering their jobs first, if anyone. The problems run far deeper than a coach who the press and a couple of woke players treat as if he's gone full Colonel Kurtz. Four years ago he was a breath of fresh air over here. A pandemic, financial crisis and shedding of essential assistant coaches later and he's the devil. BS. I love Eddie. And don't tell me the crap rugby England are playing is his fault. Our players gave-up two or three six nations ago. They can't think for themselves, or if they can they haven't got the balls to step-up. Same goes for you boys. Those kids you played will be better-off for working under him. Perhaps leaving Hooper at home was a mistake. But that wouldn't have solved any of this. Stand by Eddie. He's a legend. He even nearly did something interesting with England once! No one else could have done that, especially not over here. Our good coaches left to help develop the likes of France and Ireland, running a million miles from the toxic RFU. But Eddie came here, God bless him. Maybe that was a sign there was an Aussie problem in the first place. I hope he remains on the scene to put Australia back at the top and sort Rugby Australia out. We all want to see Australia back there. A strong Aussie team is essential for world rugby. Kick out the woke s***, be proud and keep honest, strong minded and talented people like Eddie Jones. Seems to always have worked for you in the past. It appears the system isn't providing down-under, and I hear rugby is almost becoming a fringe sport. Devastating and bewildering to contemplate, even for a semi Pom. Hopefully Australia will be all the more hungry for it now.

Eddie took on probably the most challenging job in world rugby. There have been glimpses of decent rugby from this team, but having swings in performance from the players really cannot be handed as a coaching issue 9 months into the job when other coaches have had years. Look at Ireland, how long have they battled to get into the top top tier. Now they look like they have always been competitive against the Boks, NZ etc. It takes blood sweat and toil and I laud him for hoping that a fresh young side could pull off a miracle. After all Australia hasn't been great shakes for a long time. Also coming out with an article like that just before a match really doesn't seem very supportive of the players. But media just want shock news these days. They have been incredibly negative since day one. Who really had the balls to coach Australia amongst all the issues with Aussie rugby and the press.
