Breaking now !!! Palmetto Armory has an ONLINE OFFER ONLY for the Ruger American 9mm for only $249. I bought TWO of them. Ruger's R&D has stepped it up lately ! As a Mechanical Engineer myself, I have tilted in favor of the forward thinking company like Ruger when buying Pistols, Rifles etc... Count me in !

Nice review. One thing that I hate about Ruger pistols is all the warnings that have to put all over the gun. Good thing they don't make cars. The hood and doors would have lots of warnings on them.
