Ruger LC Charger (5.7x28mm) Does It Suck?!

I have an LC Carbine.. had it SBRd b4 I knew of the charger. But it's chopped to 8.5in. I have the folding adapter with a buffer tube on it. Obviously it doesn't need a buffer tube...but I cut the back end of the tube off. Took a cylinder hone to the inside and made the I.D a little bigger... now I can store my .22 can in the buffer tube(and yes the stock still stays on)..Silence is always with the 🔫

debating between picking up one of these go to with my ruger 57 or waiting for the PSA X57. So many different 5.7 options to pick from X_X

Im a fan of the 5.7. Its a handgun round with over 2000fps. Light recoil and better than 5.56 close range defense in my opinion. Unless you go .300blk subsonic suppressed.

I’d rather take my 10mm than my .300 BO with subs…10mm just hits harder (by a couple hundred FPS in some cases.) I strictly run supers in my .300 BO.

I suspect the aftermarket mag extensions may have something to do with the malfunctions.

Maybe. It wasn’t happening consistently so it was hard to tell. Going to oil it up and next range day assess it.

Suppressor probably Causing issues & mcarbo makes a good trigger kit !

They do. I didn't install the extensions right away. It worked excellently before the extensions, then terribly with them. The PSA mags with their extensions work great

both of those rounds are weak af. But if it was the FMJ causing the stoppages, that would make most sense that it won't cycle the action reliably. It's ridiculously nerf'd.
