A quick look at my Ruger LCP with Crimson Trace and it's holsters as well as what I think of the gun and a tip on how to easily field strip it with out extra tools.

I bought this gun because it was all the rage and the gun magazines where raving about it, Mine is still in brand new condition and I'm considering selling it to get a 32-H&R magnum revolver, not because of stopping power but because I now love the versatility of the 32's

Wow I'm glad that I am not the only one who found that issue with the laser edges. I contacted Ruger and Crimson trace and neither would do anything about it. I have this gun and find it easy to shoot with not really a lot of kick, especially compared to the LCR 38. I suppose it depends on how strong your hands are. The LCP is like a toy. Great compact carry gun!!

When I shoot my LCP, I use one hand, and can place my 6 shots with in a 5” diameter firing as fast as I can pull the trigger at 20 feet.

I don't yet own a CT LCP, but do plan on buying one soon. I appreciated your criticisms of the weapon along with your praises for its strong points. For someone like me who is considering the CT LCP, it's good to hear your criticisms so objectively stated, rather than just gushing love or caustic hate-speech. I disagree with much of what you say, but I'm glad that you mentioned what you feel are faults about the CT LCP and then I can decide to agree with you or not on the subjective bits.

If you pull back on the slide slightly it releases the tension on the take down pin.

I had the same problem when I first shot my LCP w/ CT laser. By the time I pulled the trigger to the point it would fire my finger tip would rub the whole way back and forth on the laser guard. I just adjusted my grip and the laser really helps me get back on target quick and I know I'm gonna hit it again. Sure you can fire quick but what's the point if you don.t hit your target Practice both ways and see which way you get more hits on target and only give yourself 15 seconds to shoot all 7.

I have the opportunity to purchase one exactly like this one for 250 which I thought was a steal before watching your video. Do you think it would be worth it for that price?

He's right, Most women can't rack this slide because it's hard to rack!

the ct grips are a point shooting tool. For what that gun is, the ct grips make perfect sense. And the recoil isn't bad at all

The laser sucks cant see the red dot pass 7 yards. Especially during the day.

Thanks for the advice on the laser. I have no problem with the recoil on this gun. It is comfortable to shoot to me. The first time I shot Win 95 gr FMJ, 150 rds, federal , hornady and no problem. Its accurate, trigger pull is good and theres a reason so you dont shoot your balls off if you have some. Just the reloading took time.

So the CT isn't good. The felt recoil is too high. And the trigger pull is too long? I'm sold.
