It's more difficult to install the trigger & springs than Chris indicates. But by making the changes, my accuracy increased significantly. The results were well worth the price & the effort.

Ya my first Sub2000 remodel was a pure nightmare especially the safety spring. But when people saw my “new” gun and bought most of the same parts I got way faster then Chris was demonstrating. My sixth gun was 16 minutes fully dressed except for the red dot mount, (he didn’t get one because he also has astigmatism like me ☹️).

The PC carbines come with a 4lb trigger AND take Glock mags! Now I definitely have to buy at least one. Probably a traditional carbine and a tactici-cool AR style one. Of course I will need some MCarbo bitz to go with it/them. I had to sell my sub2000 fully dressed and it’s new owner LOVES all the parts especially the extended bolt and the trigger.

If you were on the fence about it, stop thinking, order it, takes this carbine to the next level I was honestly a little surprised at the difference it made, but I highly recommend this trigger, the spring kit is no longer available but I did not need it, my trigger time is super fast, I would also recommend the extended magazine release that they provide, I can slide my forehand back release the mag with the fat of my palm, as I’m reaching down for another mag, this dude is legit with what he’s putting out, check them out

Man I wish you guys still had the recoil spring. I have the buffer, buffer keeper, trigger, bolt pins and trigger pins. Wish you still had the trigger springs also. Are you going to bring them back? Are you guys going to do the same upgrades with the Charger PC?

Hey guys, you say you listen to suggestions, well here it comes. How about making a trigger or even a whole trigger group that has a safety on the trigger like the Glock. I prefer the Glock style over say the S&W Shield. I’m left handed and have difficulty with cross bolt safeties. I don’t doubt even right handlers would appreciate this as it adds another level of safety. lets see if anyone else likes this idea. I would be first in line to buy one if it were produced, and hopefully by you guys. Please give it some consideration. Thank you for great products.

Could having a lighter hammer spring cause light primer strikes?

Great question...we designed and tested it thoroughly to ensure there wouldn't be any light strikes with the trigger pull drop. Used a wide variety of factory ammo to include hard primer S&B ammo. All passed without issues.

agent88 Force of habit. We filmed this while designing the new extractor. Only need to remove the charging handle if your removing the bolt. Not a necessary step for this installation. Good question.

I did buy trigger spring kit, it say its goes down to 1.6lbs when I change the trigger spring kit nothings happened. Still 3 to 4 lbs

Hey, how come I’m not finding the replacement trigger springs for this gun on the MCARBO website??? Was it because the springs were discovered to be just too light than the factory springs and maybe unreliable for function of the gun? Just curious. I just ordered the mini break and can’t wait to install it. I wish the jam nut was still offered as an option instead of a crush washer. I hate Rocksett because one might as well use JB weld, as they’re both just too “permanent” for me. I’d rather just re-torque the muzzle break when need be as this is going to just be a truck gun and/or camp carbine on Sierra fishing trips and NOT a competition gun with hundreds of rounds fired through it for competitions and such. I Can’t wait to also get the other upgrades from MCARBO!

@mcarbo Hey guys.. I have installed the flat triggar and springs to my Ruger PCC. After that I get A LOT of misclicks (they don’t go deep either, into firing pin). My friends say ”scrap the MCARBO hammer pin, obviously too weak”.. But I wanted to hear you out, what could be wrong? (My retailer is in vacay so checking with you) also, will you ejector kit improve the bullet shell-jamming significantly you think? Br Martin
