I want to thank you for standing at in that cold weather and shooting so we could all feel the fun. This was just what I've been looking for, some serious shooting with the Super Wrangler. I don't know whether you've done anything to yours or whether it is completely stock. I always at least take one leg off the trigger return spring. Roy Huntington says that recrowning the barrel usually helps a bunch as does re-cutting the forcing cone. He's kind of set up a cottage industry re-doing them. He finds that that usually shrinks the groups down to about one and a quarter inches. Everyone around here is excited about the Super Wrangler, even the mail man, who can't wait to get his. I've had a bunch of Single Sixes and one Single Ten, but what I like about the Super Wrangler is that I won't have to worry about putting a little scratch or ding on it as much. I may buy a pair. Or collect all 3 colors, though I wish they had an olive drab green. You have the best Super Wrangle videos at there, you sure worked hard enough for them. Just now hoping they can be discovered out there.

Just so you know. You turn the rear sight up to make the rounds hit higher.

@@rimfiretruckdriver4446 I’m am a firearms instructor and avid handgun hunter. For sighting in or testing loads, I have found that the best way to achieve the most accuracy is to place just the frame of the handgun ( the part in front of the trigger guard ) on the rest. Then have the bottom of the grip on a small sandbag.

I watched your second vid on this. I bought some bright orange nail polish for $2 from the grocery and after cleaning the front sight with some nail polish remover, I applied two coats. Came out good - def much easier for my old eyes to see. And I found some older X3 walnut grips in my gun parts box and traded them out for the black polymer ones. Not that those looked bad... I just like the wood ones as they're a bit fatter. I haven't shot mine yet... hoping it gives good accuracy - I do like the adjustable sights. Trigger seems a bit heavy but that should lighten up as I shoot = might get a Wolf spring and try that....

The pain definitely helps. Also let me know if your able to lighten up the trigger, that would make a big difference

@@rimfiretruckdriver4446 you can do one or both of these things with the stock trigger spring - bend them both down to reduce tension or simply slip one side off of the mount at the rear. I just bent the springs and it did lighten the trigger pull.

move your rear sight the direction you want the bullet to strike. so..... move your rear sight up to move the impact of the bullet up.

I painted the front sight on mine with yellow nail polish. I like the little fire donuts I get with the magnums.

Ha ha ha I was saying no no no -move the sight up! Now watching and of course expecting it to move down.... but you said it was higher? That makes no sense. Ah - you got it figured out. You were thinking about the front sight - you move that opposite of the way you want the groups to move - the rear needs to move the same way you want the groups to move. Your groups on the second video were better - I guess you're getting used to shooting it. You were resting the gun different too. Oh I spoke too soon, you just shot a really nice group. Anyway, I enjoyed the vid! Thanks!
