Rugged Razor 5.56 Suppressor Part 01

Part one unboxing and installing the Rugged Razor556. This is a dedicated, compact 5.56 silencer, only 6.4 inches long, and has no rate-of-fire or barrel length restrictions. Also, Rugged's Dual Taper Locking System prevents carbon buildup on the mounting threads and provides a concentric lock-up!

I noticed you mentioning the suppressor coming loose during mag dumps on your other video. Based on what I saw in this video you aren't engaging the locking collar all the way. You will more than likely need a strap wrench to engage it all the way the first several times you do this, but it'll eventually loosen up where you can do it by hand. It also helps to spray some degreaser into the mount just to clean all the gunk and oil that came from the factory (and that's accumulated while shooting) and then drop a little fresh oil in it. Sit at home and rotate the locking collar all the way until you feel a positive "clunk" and then unlock it (while it's off the weapon). Keep doing this a bit and it will also help to loosen it up a little.

Just so you know… those are still 7.62 baffles, so change your end cap and you can run it on a .30 cal.

Unfortunately it's only 3 baffles.

3 baffles is enough for a compact can like this. And it's done on purpose to mitigate gas a bit better. They actually removed one baffle on this VS the razor 762 to help with gas mitigation, and yet this can is still more quiet than the razor 762 with the extra baffle (on a 5.56 obviously), and it has much less gas blowback.
