Attack of the COWS!!! ;) Great seeing rugged continue to grow and bring out new products year after year. Have had my Razor for quite a while now, an Obsidian 9 in jail and I hope I can snag one of these Radiant cans later this year. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for watching! I usually do include the min bbl length. If I didn't it's because the suppressor doesn't have one, or, I forgot lol.

I'm having a hell of a time deciding between this or the Rugged Micro30. The difference as far as I can tell is $250, 1 inch off the overall length and only 2.5oz on either configuration. Suppression seems about the same. Am I missing something?

The weight on this can is awesome!! I just wish the OD was larger and length was shorter like the Dead Air Nomad. I looked at purchasing the Nomad but after you add a mount the weight isn’t much different than my Sandman. Nice to see these companies are doing new things with their suppressors.

I've watched quite a few of your videos and I truly like your overall delivery, but I have a suggestion for improving your credibility. I've noticed that when shooting on your range, the sound tract audio seems to be turned down...perhaps it's to make the suppressors seem quieter than what they probably really are. To alleviate any doubt, I'd like to see you incorporate sound metering equipment to validate the dB levels from various aspects (at least from the shooter's ear and muzzle). Also, please specify when you are using subsonic versus supersonic rounds. I'm not trying to be mean or rude, I'm just offering constructive criticism for improvement.
@nfareview4 жыл бұрын
I get this a lot. I record with a Sennheiser Wireless Lapel Mic in my studio and at the end of the range demo when I give my ending thoughts. All shooting sequences are done with a Rode 360 degree Video Mic to truly capture the TONE of the shot. A gunshot sound level will never be accurately replicated by speakers or a headphone, it's impossible. What can be shown through demonstration is audio tone. I explain this in my "everything you need to know about silencers" video. I have not and will not ever, lower the audio tone in post production. The microphone is set so as to not peak and distort the unsuppressed gunshot sound capture. As for sound meters, it's easier said than done as a one man show and I don't have the time nor patience to do it for each video. I tired in the past and it's not worth it. The are very expensive, must be calibrated frequently, must be properly setup, atmospheric conditions change day to day netting different results on the same exact gun/silencer/ammo. It's just not worth it. I show the silencer in the studio, live fire demo for sound, and then it's up to the buyer (you) to make a decision or do more research on it. I do the best I can as a one man show.

@Glocktard5 жыл бұрын
Matthew T, I think a big part of the cost is all of the government regulation that increase the cost of silencers. Manufactures send to distributors and then to dealers and then sit in NFA jail awaiting to get to us. Paper work, fees & wait times ad costs that are passed on to the end consumer. Hey chime in Silencer people how much of a extra fee does you dealer charge for selling a silencer?? I've seen one guy charge $50 and on other ask $100.
@nfareview5 жыл бұрын
You really have no idea how they are made, or how costly it is to R&D and run a large manufacturing company. But everyone is ignorant at some point until they are educated on the matter. I hope you stick around to learn! Thanks for watching!
