Interesting can! I'm excited to see more about it. Midwest Industries actually makes a handguard that has an inside diameter of 1.75" so you could still put it under a handguard, if you rrrreeeaaalllllllllllyyy want to! MI SP-Series.

I wouldnt run this can even under that handguard Its going to be a very very tight fit and that rail is gonna absorb all the heat

Will see see a can using technology similar to sig where they are “3d printing” their cans? Their engineering techniques allow for better baffle design, with nearly all gas blowback not hitting the face. And many other things. I don’t think there’s a patent on it, and even so, it is just a new way to build something. Seems like the next level of evolution. Much love to Dead Air and looking forward to the next-Gen 30 cal Can coming out soon!

Looks like it's pretty fuckin light. It weighs as much as a pistol Can, as it ships, but, can handle up to 300 win mag, and full auto 556. Not sure how many oz the threat mount is, but the whole Can is 14oz, which is lighter than almost any Titanium Can from any other brand, ...AND this is the larger 1 3/4" diameter! deadairsilencers.com/products/nomad/
