This one looks like your most complex yet, and turned out great! I think I can relate to regretting not finishing a whole set at one time. Sometimes the designs I work with I wish I would have cut more before going to polish, or polish before cutting more. Going back and forth and resetting equipment sure takes time with any artform it seems!

Great rug! To fix your ‘colours changing once they’re cut’ issue in the description, try a test swatch of all your yarn, even make a whole catalogue if you’re feeling funky! Could be a fun side project to document all the different yarns you use :)

Why do people rewind their yarn?I thought when you have like a lot of excess yarn that’s when you wind it but why rewind it when it comes already wind or whatever?

The yarn is being rewound into a center-pull ball. It allows the yarn to be pulled out of the center without the rest of the ball moving and rolling all over the place.
