Drone reed starts very early with the lowest pressure. That is not good when my drones start before the rest of the band. Tuning on pitch not the problem. How can I adjust the pressure to start my reeds?

Thank you for your question. Just change the bridle (the rubber band that is restricting the tongue) so that the open end of the tongue is longer. This will take more air, make the reed a little louder and deeper in pitch, but will reduce your problem.
