I love how wether intentionally or not a huge theme of this channel sense puppet and eclipse tool over has been redemption. Eclipse is a former villian, puppet is a former villian of her dimension that separated with her bad side creating a current villain (who is currently defeated but I suspect will be back) foxy in a previous life was a villian off screen, Fc is a former pawn ti a villian, Andrew is a former villian, stitchwraith is a non evil version of a former villian, this sun and moon started making many the same mistakes as the sum and moon of tsams but have gotten better at respecting each other and avoided making major mistakes that tsams sun and moon regret like separating, we even have a version of vanny who we met before the possession in the form of Vincent/Vinny who I'm guessing will be redeemed at some point. All we're missing is kill code becoming alive so we can have a kc equivalent (although we don't have a glamrock Freddy so he would have to have that moment of realization from someone else for it to work so maybe not or atleast we wait till much later)

Honestly I kinda hoped he’d stay in SaMS dimension to make up with them and, I guess redeem himself? To be fair, Solar has always been the most tolerant of him, both before and after wiping out the dimensions, plus there’s also the fact that he’s risked his life to save both Earth and Moon, so he’d probably have a better chance of redeeming himself. Between the Celestial Family, or Puppet, Foxy and Eclipse, he’d probably have better luck with Sun and Moon to be honest.

@@RoxyLoxy Very true, though for the same reason, I was kinda hoping he’d join them - Earth, Sun and Solar are in the process of grieving a loved one, while also coming to terms with the trauma they went through _because_ of Nexus. I kinda wanted Ruin to be there too so there’d be someone with him who he could talk to about the fact that Nexus _literally tortured him_ and I feel like now would have been a good time for him to finally get some support from people who are also healing emotionally from the same situation. It would’ve also been a good opportunity for the Celestial Family to gain an extra ally who could help them against any current/future threats, seeing as he’s also quite intelligent like Monty, Moon and Solar. There’s probably only so much he could do against Rez and the astrals, but if the Creator becomes a major problem again, or even Dark Sun, they probably wouldn’t mind having an extra set of hands to help them.

You can't redeem yourself if you don't view what you did was wrong. Ruin had a goal he apparently spent a decade trying to achieve, he's only sad that he couldn't find any alternative to the deaths of trillion to fully erase 1 man, but he doesn't regret it becausehe got what he wanted.

@@angrysonicbird6779 Considering what some of the characters have done, he wouldn’t necessarily have to regret all of his actions to redeem himself in their eyes just so long as he actively makes an effort to do better and never do anything like it again (which he probably wouldn’t seeing as he already did what he set out to.) I can understand people viewing him as nothing but a villain and being irredeemable, but the way I see it, some severe, untreated PTSD had a major impact on his actions. What he did was by no means right, no matter how you look at it, but I can at least _understand_ why he did what he did. In his own dimension he pretended for a long time to have gone insane so his friends wouldn’t kill him because his Creator forced them all to become monsters so he could enact genocide on all of humanity (and anyone/anything that became collateral damage). He then gave Ruin an ultimatum of killing a child or be ripped apart and killed by the people who used to be his friends. His actions were entirely driven by how badly he suffered at the hands of his own Creator and didn’t want there to be any chance of the Creator repeating his actions in another dimension. Like I said, he wasn’t right by any means, but I’m pretty sure the entire thing was just a trauma response because he didn’t have the opportunity to heal from what happened to him. He at least regrets the fact that Solar died because of him, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t feel the same way about everyone else because he never met them and is probably a sociopath and just unable to understand on an emotional level. He _has_ now risked his life for both Earth and Moon now which has probably at least scored him some points in their eyes. Sure, he can never really make up for what he did so that’s kinda out of the question now, but he can at least try to be better - the problem with that is that he’s trying and no one’s giving him the chance. Plus he didn’t say that he was wrong, just that he doesn’t regret it - that’s not great, admittedly, but it’s not like he genuinely believed he was _in the right_ either.

Seems though he feels responsible for this dimension.. Puppet, Foxy, and especially Eclipse don't want him around. I am both kind of fond of this idea but at the same time I’m not the reason why I am fond of there and think it’s a good idea is because the others do not like him even though he did save moon and it’s probably that dark Sun would look for him at The reason why I’m not so fond it is because that universe became his home for a long time and yet I know people don’t like him there, but he did do some 2 good deeds, 3 counting the reason why Nexus started melting from the inside, and I think that would be a great start to a redemption arc towards the characters 17:23 maybe sent him back to Sons dimension and ask Solar to keep an eye on him? The reason why I think that is because he doesn’t really hate Ruin but it’s very mad at him for what he did, but he is still logical and reasonable so he seems like a good guy to keep an eye on Ruin
