Yes. I'm casually familiar with characters, but just basic things like "yasuo has some kind of wind powers." This game explains who the characters are and show why you should care.

Yup, the game is very friendly to people new to the universe, all characters get a base background at first and then you gradually learn more about them throughout their interactions.

In my opinion yes. I'm a huge lore nerd and this games lore was really exciting even for me. I won't spoil anything but some characters in the game are already established in leagues lore as side characters so when I saw their name it was pretty much the lio pointing meme. The game does a great job explaing who are the characters and why are they there. Probably one of the best ways to get introduced to leagues fantasty world other than Arcane(the show they made)

I liked the game but I hate the fact that Viego mistreats his wife Isolde when it’s already confirmed they were both in love with each other no abuse just pure love, Viego mistreating Isolde ruined the tragedy of the characters. Viego makes players feel sympathy for him and that’s what the ruined king should be, a villain that players feel sympathy for. They completely destroyed the tragic tale and character, they turn an anti-villain into a complete obsessive wife abusing Ahole. Other than that the rest of the story is great just hate how they did Viego dirty AGAIN!

Dude killed millions out of refusal to accept Isolde's death and moving on. Even after he would be willing to destroy the world to bring back a person who doesn't want to come back. Viego is a toxic , obsessive , incel as he is intended to be.

Before this infomation I was hoping that they make history similiar like this. That they made that Viego was not very good king, bt when hes wife, she helping him to become better ruler, and everything will be good but then she will be killed in assasination against him and bad things started

That's because Airship Syndicate developed this game (same studio as Battlechasers). Riot didn't develop it, just published it. Also, saying it's just a reskin it's just an insult to the devs. There's obviously a lot more to this than Battlechasers including mechanics wise, personally I think it's an improvement over Battlechasers.

After playing BCNW to death (all but one cheevo gotten), I think this is meh. Too similar to that, with some mechanics lifted over 1:1. Some enemy animations or looks are 99% the same as things in BCNW. If I wanted to play BCNW again, I'd do that. Even the "great combat lane" mechanic is just a slight spin on the speed system they had in BCNW. It's so derivative it's underwhelming. Lotsa bugs and empty walking around and spamming the scan just to get some scraps. Inelegant and dull.
