You have to understand from Rukia's viewpoint she has never been acknowledged by her big brother and her fear was that she would never be good enough to be acknowledged by him so giving negative reinforcement would be counterproductive for him because what she needed from him was acknowledgement positive reinforcement.

Didn't check out fully, but Byakuya has definitely become more humble / less arrogant after his fight with Ichigo. Even more after the time skip

please remember that same Quincy Rukia killed took out all of Byakuya guts 🙏 and he had to be revived cause of fan hate of his death lolllll! Rukia’s strong

36:10 Hitsugaya once told Harribel that his body is still too immature to use hyorinmaru full power. Rukia is an adult, hitsugaya is still a kid. Even now he is using a child version of his bankai.

Yeah shorty on the left is trippin asking for Byakuya to motivate her then complain when he does it for not smack talking it’s called character development for Byakuya n Rukia they had a estranged sibling dynamic in the beginning of the series but it’s gotten much healthier and this is the peak of that development in this fight

Why are you disappointed by her? Come on. It's insecurity.
