Love the service that provides stress/accent marks! Thank you so much for this.

I LOVE this dictionary but I wasn't aware of all the features. I make a lot of mistakes on where I put stress on the words, so this feature will be particularly helpful for me. The other thing I use a lot is entering a word that's in my Lingq lesson and checking which case it's in. Thank you SO much for this really helpful video.

It's great to have information on resources for Ukrainian learners--especially online ones, since good print-format ones are hard to find, even in Ukraine!

I think I became a translator because I love dictionaries, rather than the other way round... ☺This video is a real gift, especially the accent feature. Recently I listened to a poem on YT and put in all the accents by hand, so I can keep going back to it. It was a good exercise, but this is so cool! Last year, my language goals were to familiarise myself with Ukrainian, how it works, and of course learn to read and also distinguish it from russian in speech and writing (I really couldn't, and now they sound soooo different). This year, my main language goal is speaking, and my cluelessness about accents is probably the main obstacle to that. Thank you so much! It's like you can read my mind sometimes ☺💙💛

Привіт Ніко! Давно користуюся цією сторінкою дуже зручно. Єдине, що я хотів би, щоб було інакше, це щоб він вгадував написання слова після того, як ви введете 3-4-5 букв, тому що якщо ви помилитеся в слові, він не зможе його знайти.😇

Is there a way to know whether a verb is perfective or imperfective from this dictionary?
@niavka_lisova Жыл бұрын
Yes, every perfective verb (доконане дієслово) is labeled with a mark " док. " (written in calligraphy somewhere in the first line, between the word and its definition). Imperfective verb (недоконане дієслово) marked as " недок. " Also, if you scroll down to the conjugation table, verb aspect is indicated in the blue rectangle - доконаний or недоконаний (which is easier to notice).

Thanks for the recommendation. I was especially interested in the наголос feature. I’ve tried ChatGpt for that but it isn’t very reliable. I haven’t tested slovnyk extensively yet but in my experiments I have already come across two mistakes-I wonder if they use the same technology. It’s a great tool but I will be using it with caution.
