For sure. Yan lo. In second edition his lightning dance was bonkers. Even in this edition they toned it down to Walk the Ways. And boy is it fun. Your opponents can never really prepare for Walking.

This was so cool. I grew up watching wild west movies and I felt like the Explorer's Society was going to have that feel. But it was more of an X-files episode mixed with jumanji. And it let me down. Being Japanese I was ready to embrace some Ten Thunders neutral/ good. Lucas McCabe and Yalo felt pretty meh. Asami caught my attention. Mei Fang, Yuko Hamasaki, Lynn Ly, Shenlong these characters are the jam to my biscuits. I got one more Rule of cool with the outcasts left but most likely headed into Ten Thunders. Thank for the content.

Some great choices! I think thunders has some really interesting characters. The relationship between Misaki and Youko is fascinating, and Linh Ly is just amazing 🔥 glad you're enjoying the series! Let me know which way you end up going

See I look at the rule of cool over playstyle all the time. It sometimes gets me in trouble. Like for the 10 thunders, only one I think is cool is Jacob lynch. But playstyle wise he is difficult for me.

I think that's the best approach as well, that's why I did a whole series like this just on ROC. This is more for people who are mostly concerned about gameplay and approachability, especially if they are playing with other new people and trying to help grow their community. Do you dislike Jakobs title version too?
