Joel's messages always encourage and INSPIRE me. I have been listening to him daily (many times ALL DAY LONG ON PURPOSE) for nearly a decade. My attitude, my outlook, my heart is changed from hearing God's word, Joel's insights, and his stories. I remember when I needed these messages during my hard seasons, when I didn't understand why I was going through what I was and know I SEE the goodness. Now I can nod in agreement for all that God has done. In my good season I still seek God's word, I probably seek it more because I love it so much. I pray that anyone struggling will be encouraged by anyone sharing God's goodness. God uses so many of us to share his light. Stay in faith and keep trusting God.

I hope that whatever is happening now, that you are not being hurt by your family. An interesting thing happened in my life. The entire story is very difficult to believe. 2 of my sisters were frequently abusive towards me, and others. My other sister was very cold and judgemental. I sacrificed a few years of my life to care for my parents while my parter was also unwell. My parents came to trust me very deeply because I was the one who helped them so much and respected them deeply. 2 sisters stopped speaking to me when my parents needed a lot of help. A lot of unbelievable things happened. The sisters were so cruel to all of us. Even thought the sisters were terribly mean, they eventually all stopped having anything to do with me. I am very family orientated snd really forgiving. I would never have cut them off. They saved me from a future of continued abuse- they freed me. I am amazed how that part worked out. I have grown so much spiritually since they abused my parents and me and my family. I wrote because your family is horrible to you. I always forgave my sisters no matter how much they traumatized me. That isn't taking care of oneself- allowing abuse. Thanks for your comment, take charge of your emotions and rule your atmosphere.

I love these sermons with all of my heart because we must learn to deal with relationships. Some of us made grave mistakes and opened ourselves to abuse by letting in toxic people and let them stay longer than they should. Most churches should teach these lessons more. My job is shaky right now. I sought out legal advice. I am doing what I can do, & I’m letting God do the rest. I’ve decided to let God fight my battles. Everytime I listen to Joel Osteen I feel like the message is directed to me it touches my life does anyone feel the same... Atmosphere is the only place where you can rule like a king or a queen...it's a personal kingdom given by God for you to rule ...
