If you pay attention to the openings (from 2nd opening) you will notice what book it's from, such as lasting, awakening, ect the book titles

LiSA is definitely an amazing singer, but wait until you get to hear ReoNa... Anywho, the thing about Cardinal is that she/it is mainly abiding by the programming within her/it. The act of wanting to erase all of the Fluctlights comes from the place of a program just obeying its commands, rather than Cardinal being apathetic to the other souls in the Underworld. Later episodes will showcase this better than this episode, but Cardinal isn't a crazy person like you might think.
