Yup. Especially since they don't really plan on giving said AIs human rights and he would be aware of that. If they were treating AIs like humans, it'd probably be far easier to accept being a copy and trying to live with it. But knowing they'll see you as a resource if you're one? That's basically the same as having a gun pointed to your head and knowing it'll be shot.

I gotta say that part when rinko was going to kill him but couldn’t it just made me realize she was attending to do it at that moment, he was going to go back in aincrad that day he was exposed by kirito and he thought kirito as the final boss and then when he was defeated he died; and Rinko was THERE to witness his death

I know you're a couple of episodes ahead Neel, but when they're talking about AIs -- First method is Top Down - a AI that's already there but learns. (Kik doesn't know it, but this is exactly what Yui is. She has suppased what a general AI can be told what to do, and learns on her own. She has feelings. The second is Bottom up - they literally create the bodies, and the mind self learns from a baby. Although, it still follows orders, it's a success when it bypasses a law e.g. thinks for itself.

Honestly one of the more disturbing episodes of the entire series… but that’s just how effed up Project Alicization is. But even as disturbing as it is, it really lays out the foundation of this entire arc even more than Kirito did in ep 1.

Hope you either read this, or your community is forewarning you of it, when you hit episode 10 in this arc, without trying to give anything away. You're going to need to heavily edit it and try to skip as much as possible, something really messed up takes place but something really important happens at the same time. So be aware and hope you continue to enjoy this series.

I think it plays out a bit differently in the light novel if I'm remembering correctly. While they do want to weaponize the AI and therefore need the AI to be willing to kill, it goes deeper than that. The reasoning they presented is that the AI can't go against the Taboo Index but the Taboo Index are rules established by the Axiom Church. All the developers would have to do is take over running the Axiom Church and change the Taboo Index to suite their needs. The real issue is that the AI is too rigid when it comes to following the rules/laws. They need an AI that is more flexible. An AI that has free will and a moral compass that goes beyond the data sets that has been given to it is what separates a bottom-up AI from a top-down AI like Yui.

Neel, there was an experiment by the US Air Force about a year ago. It was a simulation testing how a drone with an AI would react in combat. It was given several possible targets to destroy. But it decided to KILL the human operator controlling the drone instead! IT KILLED HIM! The AI reasoned that its purpose was to destroy its target. But since there was a human controller NOT giving the order to attack, he was PREVENTING the AI from completing its purpose. So the AI "removed" him. There's also SKYNEX. A mobile, state of the art turret working in Ukraine now. It is unmanned. A nearby human operator tells Skynex when there's an enemy drone. Then skynex locks on and TERMINATES it. Hasta LA Vista!

You know I think Asuna and rinko are a little alike but for Asuna her relationship with kirito was about 100 percent perfect because of a great future kirito hopes to achieve to make virtual reality amazing and Asuna is willing to be with him always and loves him for that dream. For rinko and kayaba it was good at first in the beginning, but turns out she never knew what kayaba was getting into and the madness he created and the danger rinko thought he put her through but that was just a way to protect her and still even if she wanted to kill him for his bad deed she couldn’t because he’s still the man she loves and kayaba still understood her feelings and emotions.

AI will led to human race downfall, there's this children show about an AI running from cult of rational people that believe AI must go and it's their purpose to eliminate all AI, and then the AI met the main protagonist and partners up with him to defeat this cult, after they done the AI ran a simulation on how AI will impact human life, to no one's surprised AI took over and the AI saw the main protagonist's lifeless body in his hand, and the final arc on this 100+ episode long anime is the AI fighting against the main character who believes that AI can coexist with human, the AI died in the main protagonist's hand after the fight
