I just realize Yui is the first AI who have an emotion and it's actually doesn't need to be from the Underworld, P.s to prevent a Misunderstanding and a quick reminder Yui got all that emotion from the People who are trapped in Aincard which is a horrible way to Create a Super AI, so the Alicization Project Is actually needed

watching the way those government guys talk about AI's makes me so glad they don't know about Yui also the fact that asuna and kirito may not hate Koujiro Rinko for her part in sao while nice is cause they got their happy ending from that nightmare but the other 6000 players that also survived that hell might not feel the same way and then their's all the family's and friends from all of players especially from those that lost people I'm surprised she can go out in public

they do know Yui, it's just that Yui (and Yuuna) are top-bottom AI. Their intention is to create a bottom-up AI.

@@kimberlygarcia7764 Top-Bottom AI exists right now in the form of Google Translate and DeepL. It shows the actual effectiveness rn of Top-Bottom AI. (basically, not that much.) Yui just happens to have a ton lot of conversational data (so she's like an overly specific 8ball.) and Yuuna was designed to mimic the original's behavior, again, via top-bottom AI and the memories of other SAO players of Yuuna. What's needed for war is an AI that MAY disobey orders for a specific reason, a good example would be ethical reasons.

For one, the anime started airing before progressives first volume had released, and Reki also doesn't borrow ideas from the anime, and neither does his artist, abec. You have several scenes in the novel released after the anime debuted its yellow eyes where Kirito's eyes end up yellow in the anime yet havent changed at all in the novel.

So even if you wanted to try to say Reki tried to explain the yellow eyes with the enlightenment skill, you'd be objectively wrong. Btw sorry what I'm saying isnt super well composed and coherent, its 2 am for me lol.
