I will have to ask her. I know she really enjoyed the Hampden Great House 2020. But I am not sure that’s her favorite.

I want a bottle of the port finished Worthy Park that came out last year but sold out quickly. all the other wine finished editions are easy to find but the port was the oldest age and sold so fast I could not get one. I think it was 9 year and the others are around 5 year.

@@ReadySetRum I have the Oloroso and it was good, but not outstanding. I tried it neat and also in a 1944 Mai Tai vs. the „normal“ worthy park

I’m tempted to buy this rum and give it a try in a 1944 Mai Tai (I have high expectations for this one). But the price is tough…in Germany we pay approx 130€ for this Worthy Park. Hampden Great House was around 90€…

Excited to try this! I see Worthy Park every now and then but that $140 price is tough. The reserve is almost a third of the price. Is the 12 year that much better?

Nah. I would get the Single Estate, $140 is too much. But for bourbon and whiskey drinkers, you guys might like it more. Its 56% and you feel that heat more than Foursquare Cask strength.

At $140.00 it had better be exceptional. Foursquare cask strength series (especially the 2005) & El Dorado 21 are less and are amazing rums!

I agree with you. But that just my palate, I see many ppl loving this rum. But for me it’s hard to sip neat but that’s also the effect of high ABV. It just was not as mellow as I would have liked.
