The Mermaid distillery does a Navy strength rum that is delicious and quite potent. I love the Mermaid bottle design, I have a collection lol My winner would be Mermaid but as an islander I am probably biased.

Mermaid is excellent, and the bottle really makes it shine. I will need to get myself the navy strenght one, for the next annual Rum Tasting.

Good review skip. Ive done the rounds myself and always come back to Woods or Lambs original. I just cant take to spiced rum at all .

Aaaaaar captain I was at a friends house years ago and his wife gave me a shot of spiced rum and I nearly died I thought it was paint striper, She said "you don't think I'm going to put decent rum in my cake do you", it's was a cheap Caribbean bottle from a supermarket and not B&Q.
