In Poland US style sirens sound are common on diffrent emergency services cars. Sirens operators can play Euro sirens but they prefer american style often.

We have both great new fire trucks based on Scanias or MANs and some classics (nowdays residing in museums or private hands) like Jelcz and Star trucks which are literally tank sized

Off the top of my head, yes, those are the only places I can think of in Europe. I’ve seen Rumbler sirens pop up in Germany and Belgium, but not sure if they are regularly being used anywhere or just tested.

I could also add the names of these fire vehicles. In Poland, medium fire-fighting vehicles are marked with operational numbers. In the State Fire Service or in the Rescue and Firefighting Units they have the following numbers: Medium fire trucks (21 First Departure, 22 Second Departure. 23 is the Third Departure) 25 means heavy fire trucks 52 This number refers to fire ladders 90,91 are operational or rescue and reconnaissance vehicles In the case of volunteer fire brigades, it is different because they often have numbers ending with 9 or 7. (7 denotes units outside the KSRG (National Rescue and Firefighting System) and 9 denotes units in this system. KSRG allows such units to travel outside their region or district in which they are located.

@@marco_grt4460 The markings on the T-type ambulances indicate a Transport Ambulance. And P in Polish means Basic Ambulance. In Poland we have different ambulances, even Rapid Response Ambulances.

The traditional European siren is the two tones. However a lot of eastern Europe including Poland have adopted the US wailing sirens combined with the air horn.
