Rumley 25-45 Threshing

Threshing demonstration featuring a mid-twenties Rumely 25-45 tractor belted up to a McCormick threshing machine during the 2018 Leslieville Antique Days. The 25-45 model R Advance-Rumely was built from 1924 thru 1927 and final production numbers sit at only 761. Power is delivered from a horizontal 911ci (14.9L) two cylinder spark ignition engine delivering a peak output of 50.5hp at just over 500rpm. These tractors, like all Rumely's, were built in La Porte, Indiana. Central Alberta Antique and Model Club, Leslieville, Alberta.

Was that Ignition wires shorting out on the front of the engine,when the were putting the belt on?

Ah, I saw that too, its actually a casting hole in the flywheel that was letting light through as it spun. Apparently the holes were there for stress relief on the casting.
